Five Glorious Moments of Life

Let there be no lifelong pleasure
Of company in a life partnership
Let there be no moment of pleasure
Of the most beautiful companionship
What life wishes is happiness of love
Through symphony of twosome
*
Life is not counted in years we live
Life is not counted by pleasures we get or give
But by richness of five moments of glory
In wholehearted company of someone
Remaining in mind as imperishable as ivory
*
The first glorious moment in life that lingers
Is a toddler first step holding parents' finger
The joy is unparalleled of that moment
For both the toddler as well as the parent
*
Second joyful moment is experienced
When the child scribes a line haphazard
On piece of paper holding pencil in hand
The moment marks the beginning
The child is made to find
Ways of the World civilized
*
Third moment of such glory is the intrinsic act
When a boy and a girl have the first eye contact
With tenderness of love full of innocence
Not even knowing what love actually unfolds
Driven by an amazing urge of their souls
*
Fourth glorious moment arises from procreative instinct
When a person involves in sexual pleasure innately distinct
For the first time - touches, kisses and all like a bridge
That gets built in between them so naturally
With no prior knowledge, not even culturally
*
And the last fifth glorious moment may come
When two persons with knowledge and experience
Jump together in a pool of love in brilliance
With intentions of giving everything of their own
To enrichment of love in between, no seed sown
No string attached, no outcome feared

Selling Love amid Lust

In my efforts for survival on lusty ground
Thought of producing something of value
And sell that to the people around
For having some food, clothes and shelter
To survive meeting needs bare minimum
Tried to produce again and again
Using wisdom and intellect I learned
Simplicity and innocence, I inherited
But failed again and again

Met people very successful
In business of life and flourishing
To learn the art I need to survive
Meeting my basic needs of life
They checked up and diagnosed me
With severely deficient in smartness needed
What they advised made me to astonish
For potential of uprooting all I cherish -
Wisdom and intellect, earned so hard
Honesty and integrity, learned to guard

They took me to their school
For teaching life with basic rule
How to make others fool
Be cunning, show innocence
Be cruel, yet exhibit kindness
Show love, be friend of lusty
Preach need minimal, enjoy luxury
This is religion of modern humanity
Some served in name of spirituality
Politically, it is being diplomatically

Their syllabus aims to demolish
All I learned, all I cherish
So, I ran out of school
With they chasing and me caught
I said, can't demolish my existence
Excuse me for my self-defense
Responded they with smiles fake
We don't want you to school
But tell not others
How we make others fool

I could create few words of love
With my own values and locus
Love with loyalty without chatter
Without scatter, but with focus
Lust may be parcel of love
Let it not subvert love
Love is light, lust is sound
Both going in circles round
Love is the need of all -
From the lusty to the forlorn
Love someone if you can
Forget where there were born

Went to market, tried to sell
My words of love without yell
Market is full with customers of lust
None wanting love as their choice first
They want lust, keeping love as reserve
To be touched when nothing else serve
Used often for exhibiting lust
Hidden behind mask of love

I got price but very low
Not sufficient to survive without bow
What do I do with feelings of love
Find no soil on which to sow

Beauty in Innocence

Intelligent people think
To lose their natural innocence
Tactics and Strategies make their life
Away from natural living
And its fragrant fluorescence
Through thoughts so sterilized
Humanity is badly insensitized

Still, all is not lost
There are sensitive people
Wholly humane with their innocence
Imprinted on their beautiful faces
Know not tactics, strategy or intelligence
Keeping human spirit alive
Thro' their work of integrated diligence

I saw such a face of a human-being
Thought - the face appears own
A persona satisfies my lovely dream
Without knowing her well
Suffixed adjective 'purity' to the gleam
Since then, the image makes a human icon
I value her, let none else reckon

Purity, integrated and composed
Still struggles in the cruel world
For her existence
Calm and quiet, never reposed
Never says a word even if provoked
For she, a flower fearing thorns around
Eager to tear her apart

Purity too wishes to smile and laugh as others
With her modesty and serenity of mind
So pretty looks she with smile suppressed
Iconic Monalisa steals the versatile
Whatever be in her mind, she never tells
Therefore none knows her so well

Yet I feel to put my humble hand on her head
To say that I am here to help in feeling sour
Any time, any way, in her life
In her struggles, in her strife

For I am that thorn to protect all flowers
