Lover's Labor Lost

When I saw you for the first time, you were glittering with shine,
Like a sculpture framed nicely for the viewers to sign,
Lips artificially colored, dressed precious and fine.
But rhythm of life was missing, so were the curves in body-line.

Inside the dead wood, I realized the womanhood,
Touched you with loving eyes, smiled at you to up-rise,
Lo, the woman came alive
To walk with me hand-in-hand on the sands of time,
To sing the songs of love with embody of rhythm and rhyme.

Soon, passions got aroused for the love you never found,
I thought my work is done, on finding the good one
I wished to move along with control and discipline
With touches intellectual, virtual yet affect factual.

You could not understand me, nor the principles who were we.
Your passions made you drift, finding reasons to shift.
Thus was lover's labor lost, in the mud of worldly frost.

Yes, you are still a woman but only in symbol and form
In command of your life are just the worldly norm
Now, can't walk with you hand-in-hand on the sands of time,
To sing the songs of love with embody of rhythm and rhyme.

  1. You are an infinite being, who is lost in the world of isolation, and is now desperately seeking for itself within various reflections.
